Job Description

About the role:

The Sales Team Manager (internally known as Head of Sales, Ireland)  will play an instrumental role in establishing and driving growth through recruiting, coaching, and managing a team of high-performing Sales Executives and Business Development Managers, focused on generating sales leads and starting long-term relationships with corporate clients in Ireland and the rest of Europe. You will lead by example, help the team to develop their skills, deliver on their ambitious targets, and coach, when required, whether on client calls or face to face client meetings.

At OFX, we believe everyone thrives when they feel a genuine sense of belonging — regardless of background, identity or experience. As part of our Corporate Sales team, you’ll join a truly inclusive culture built on collaboration, mentorship and continuous learning. You’ll benefit from employee‑led networks, structured leadership development programmes and a commitment to equitable opportunity at every stage — giving you the support, resources and clarity you need to grow your career.

What you'll do:

  • Recruit, develop and lead a team of effective sales professionals.
  • Develop your own pipeline with a view to hitting and surpassing your individual revenue target.
  • Be accountable for increasing revenue and scaling the team.
  • Coach, train and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cycle.
  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics.
  • Inspire, motivate and enable personal and career development of team members, both to promote career growth and to increase impact for OFX.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organisation to help shape OFX’s products and solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Work with the sales enablement team to drive consistency of training, but also consistency of processes and internal discipline.
  • Participate in industry events to help drive positive market awareness.
  • Work with Senior Dealers and Business Development Managers to develop segment strategy and client insights.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Ability to motivate, influence others and deliver individual and team results.
  • Solution driven, consultative sales approach.
  • At least 5 years’ experience selling FX and/or expense management solutions, in payments or in money markets.
  • At least 2 years leading teams.
  • Thorough understanding of the financial markets and the key drivers of currency fluctuations.
  • The ability to demonstrate strong sales skills along with an excellent level of commercial awareness.
  • Curious and self-starting attitude with ability to think fast.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and within a cohesive team.
  • Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks.

  • Make a difference. Through our Make a Difference program, we encourage OFXers to give back to causes and communities that are important to them. We celebrate this with an annual volunteer day, which OFXers can use together or individually, as well as matched giving and the opportunity to nominate charity of choice every quarter.
  • Reward and recognition. We recognise a job well done. OFXers are encouraged to celebrate their peers’ effort, technical expertise or support through a range of global and regional channels and awards, including quarterly and annual awards, milestones and shout outs.
  • Showing our social side. Our Good Vibes employee-led committees around the globe organize events to help keep our employees engaged inside and outside the office. Whether it’s a wellbeing activity, end of year celebration, or a monthly team get-together, our team wants you to feel welcome!
  • Benefits that mean something. We offer a range of fantastic benefits, including primary and secondary gender neutral carer parental leave (16 weeks) or birthday leave, you'll feel well-supported at OFX.
  • A great work environment. Enjoy work-life balance and flexibility with our hybrid work model, in an inclusive, diverse and non-hierarchal culture.

At OFX, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive and accessible workplace where we value, respect, and encourage our people to be their authentic selves.
