CHEP is currently looking for a Sales Representative in Athens. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Team Leader and work alongside another Sales Representative. This role requires a resilient, driven and self- motivated individual.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing the CHEP business via new market sectors and segments and high potential customers, in order to deliver sustainable budget and profitability in dedicated market.
- Managing, developing and deploying the sales processes and tools to deliver rapid and profitable sales growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
How to be successful in this role:
- Bring 1-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Well presented with excellent communication skills.
- Good understanding of B2B sales and how to identify new customers
- Confidence in making cold calls to new business and perseverance when you get declined by some businesses
- Self-motivation to drive the annual targets in order to receive a hunter bonus
- Willingness to visit customers in allocated region
Key Responsibilities:
- Own sales related activities in dedicated market,
- Identify major opportunities and develop a sales plan to achieve targets in nominated areas of responsibility,
- Build appropriate level relationships with prospects and sell in CHEP value,
- Complete thorough investigations into target company operations,
- Develop commercial proposals in line with CHEP policy, offering newest solutions, procedures and processes,
- Engage and cooperate with other CHEP teams to convert opportunities and implement CHEP systems,
- Respond quickly and effectively to problems and shortfalls and be pro-active in this,
- Maintain and improve the process to solicit customer feedback and identify trends,
- Comply with the safety legislation, policies and procedures of Zero Harm
- Participate in current department projects and other tasks as delegated by the Manager
Minimum Requirements:
- 1- 3 years of experience preferably supply chain or project related in selling services to large organizations with complex decision-making processes (Hunter profile),
- Languages: Fluent in Greek & English
- Existing client portfolio and senior relationships in FMCG and Retail sectors will be a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English with the ability to interact effectively,
- Personal Competencies: Business acumen, Drive for results, Learning on the fly, Dealing with ambiguity, Comfort around senior management, Interpersonal savvy,
- Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint (Basic - Intermediate Level)
- Experienced in the application of MS Office, strong numeracy, gifted presenter,
- Worked successfully in a matrix structure,
- Goal Driven.
