Position Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join our fund administration company. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our sales and operations teams, ensuring the successful onboarding and servicing of new clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in fund operations and the ability to clearly articulate our end-client technology solutions to prospects. The successful candidate will report directly to our Head of Sales and will work closely with our Head of Operations and relevant technology leads.
This role will sit within our Dublin OR London office, with a hybrid working model in place, so applicants located in both locations or commutable distance are very welcome.What you’ll do:
Service Model Scoping: Collaborate with the sales team to understand prospective client requirements and scope out tailored service models that meet their needs.
Operations Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the operations and sales teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the client onboarding process.
Fund Operations Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in fund operations, providing guidance and support internally and externally.
Technology Demonstrations: Deliver compelling demonstrations of the company's end-client technology platform to prospects, highlighting key features and benefits.
Solution Development: Work closely with operations to design and propose solutions that address client-specific challenges and requirements.
Client Onboarding Support: Support the onboarding of new clients by ensuring all operational and technological aspects are properly scoped and communicated.
Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from prospects and clients regarding technology and service offerings, relaying insights to product and operations teams for continuous improvement.

What we need from you:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Technology (or equivalent), or a related field.
Proven experience in fund administration, fund operations, or a similar financial services environment.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex technology solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Desirable Attributes:
Experience in a-sales engineering or pre-sales role within financial services.
Knowledge of industry-standard fund administration platforms and technologies.
