POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Sales Development Representatives are the first step in our sales process here at ThreatLocker, used to help grow and develop entry level sales professionals. The role focuses on product knowledge and best sales practices. Our SDR's will be contacting potential customers to inform them about our product or service using scripts. Along with answering questions about products or the company and asking questions to better understand customer requirements.  

JOB SCOPE

The SDR will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote product
  • Explain the product or service to potential customers
  • Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customer
  • Handle customer questions
  • Record customer details including reaction to the product or service offered
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a high volume, call center working environment, preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • High school degree

  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to visit company offices and/or property locations.
  • While performing duties of this job, would occasionally require to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects and tools.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
