What we’re looking for

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at SurveyMonkey, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for our enterprise solutions. You will be responsible for creating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and strategic prospecting efforts. Working closely with Account Executives, you will help build a strong sales pipeline and contribute to the success of our organization. You will report directly to the SDR Manager.

What you’ll be working on

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and social media to generate new business opportunities for SurveyMonkey's products.
  • Qualify inbound leads to determine potential fit and readiness for sales engagement.
  • Conduct Zoom, phone, and email engagements with prospective customers to understand their business needs and set a meeting with an Account Executive
  • Utilize CRM and task management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach) to track and manage lead interactions, ensuring accurate reporting and pipeline visibility.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and SurveyMonkey’s offerings to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Continuously refine prospecting strategies based on data and feedback.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn with a desire to grow a career in Sales.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with outbound sales techniques and prospecting tools.

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
