We’re looking for a Sales and Operations Assistant to join Dyson Ireland’s Key Accounts team. In this hybrid role, you’ll support the strategic growth of our retail partners by combining strong commercial insight with operational excellence.
You’ll play a key role in driving sustainable profit growth, managing day-to-day sales support, and ensuring smooth office and operational processes. With proven leadership skills, a sharp analytical mindset, and a passion for premium customer experiences, you’ll help strengthen Dyson’s presence and internal efficiency.
About the role
- Represent Dyson’s premium brand in retail online and offline, delivering exceptional product demonstrations and customer experiences.
- Support the sales team in achieving targets through proactive customer engagement and upselling strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dyson’s product range and innovations to effectively communicate features and benefits.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations including stock control, order processing, and logistics support.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Oversee general office administration including supplies, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Act as the point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
- Support HR and finance functions with basic administrative tasks such as onboarding, expense tracking, and document management.
About You
- Background in account management or key account support, ideally within a premium or consumer electronics brand.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience contributing to or supporting a high-performing sales team.
- Exposure to account negotiations and commercial discussions with retail partners.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience in planning, forecasting, and stock control across multiple product lines.
- Familiarity with the retail sector, preferably within electricals, appliances, or a similar industry.
- Experience supporting or managing general office operations and administrative processes.
- Exellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized, with a proactive approach to planning and execution.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to support long-term account development.
- Skilled relationship builder with internal teams, retail partners, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Confident negotiator with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through on tasks to completion.
- Quick-thinking, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
