Join us as a Revenue Analytics Engineer

What you will do
We are seeking a Revenue Analytics & BI Engineer to design, build, and maintain analytics solutions supporting revenue and finance reporting, with an initial focus on subscription revenue and ARR metrics. This role translates finance requirements into scalable data models, integrations, and Power BI dashboards that enable consistent, reliable reporting across the business.
The role partners closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, IT, and Data Engineering teams, owning the technical implementation and data quality of analytics and reporting solutions.
You will:
Power BI & Analytics Delivery
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, datasets, and semantic models for revenue and finance reporting
- Deliver scalable, reusable analytics solutions for business stakeholders
- Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and data refresh reliability
Revenue Data Modeling & Metrics Implementation
- Implement Finance-defined ARR, NRR, GRR, expansion, contraction, and churn metrics
- Build and maintain data transformations that support auditable metric calculations
- Validate results and reconcile outputs in partnership with Finance
Historical Reporting & Data Structure
- Design data structures that support accurate historical reporting over time
- Partner with Data Engineering to implement snapshotting or change-tracking solutions
- Ensure reporting reflects approved corrections and maintains historical integrity
Data Quality & Documentation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues across reporting solutions
- Document data models, transformations, and reporting logic
- Support enhancements and ad-hoc analytical requests
What you’ll need to succeed in this role
- Demonstrated experience designing and building production-grade Power BI dashboards, datasets, and semantic models
- Hands-on experience using SQL to query, validate, and analyze data in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Experience implementing financial metrics in BI or analytics environments
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data quality
- Ability to communicate clearly about data, metrics, and technical concepts with non-technical stakeholders across time zones
Additional experience desired
- Experience with ARR or subscription platforms (e.g., Maxio, Zuora, Chargebee)
- Familiarity with subscription revenue metrics in SaaS businesses
- Experience with data modeling techniques for historical tracking (e.g., snapshot tables, slowly changing dimensions)
- Exposure to analytics engineering tools (e.g., dbt)
- Experience supporting global or distributed teams
- Power BI dashboards are reliable, performant, and widely used
- Revenue and finance metrics are consistently implemented across reports and systems
- Salesforce, Snowflake, and Maxio integrations are stable, documented, and scalable
- New and evolving Finance reporting needs are efficiently reflected in analytics solutions
