Responsibilities:
- Release Planning:
- Develop and maintain the release calendar.
- Work with stakeholders to define release scope and objectives.
- Identify and manage release risks and dependencies.
- Release Coordination:
- Coordinate release activities across multiple teams.
- Ensure that all release requirements are met.
- Track release progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Release Execution:
- Manage the release process, including build, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure that releases are deployed smoothly and without disruption to production environments.
- Troubleshoot release issues and provide timely resolution.
- Post-Release Activities:
- Conduct post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Document release processes and procedures.
- Maintain release documentation and artifacts.
- Automation & Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve the release process.
- Implement best practices for release management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Release Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management principles.
- Experience with release automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
