Salesforce is seeking a Regional Sales Director based in Dublin leading SMB Sales Germany. This person will serve as a key executive leader in the SMB EMEA sales organisation. This leader will be accountable for creating an organisation recognised for its strong Salesforce culture, commitment to Salesforce values, and an ability to drive growth across the Salesforce clouds in the SMB segment.
Additionally, this leader will serve as a strong Business Leader, a Customer Partner and a Talent Multiplier and will have the personal drive and commitment to both understand and successfully navigate a fast-growing, global company striving towards continued growth in an evolving marketplace.
Responsibilities:

  • As a 2nd line leader, you will be managing and developing a team of first line Sales Managers and Account Executives for SMB Germany

  • Provide support and mentorship to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required

  • Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate annual growth in ACV bookings

  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for growing SMB Sales in Germany

  • Driving go-to-market execution and pipeline generation initiatives, supported by strong cross functional collaboration & execution

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

  • Manage overall sales process, and set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management

  • Work cross-functionally with all field teams (Account Development, Solution Engineering, Consulting Services, Customer Success, Channels, etc)

  • Establish trusted relationships with key corporate teams, including; industry marketing, product development, product management and recruiting

  • Attracting, developing and retaining top talent in the clouds sales SMB organisation.

Requirements:

  • Proven 1st line leadership experience leading complex sales organisations

  • Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions.

  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals

  • Track record of leading and growing sales teams essential

  • Solid track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high performing talent

  • Strong operational and analytical abilities

  • Fluency in English and Germany mandatory
