The Role
As a Quarry Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily mining & crushing operations to ensure the efficient and safe production of aggregates. You will manage a team, monitor production processes, and drive continuous improvement to meet business goals.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role will be multi-faceted and be responsible for supervising quarry operations with a focus on production enhancement and improvement.
In your new role, you will:
- Supervise and coordinate quarry production activities, ensuring targets are met
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across the site
- Lead, train, and motivate quarry staff to maximise efficiency and teamwork
- Work closely with the Site Maintenance Supervisor to monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance, minimizing downtime
- Maintain accurate production records and report on performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others
- Go home every night driving your fully maintained company vehicle
About you:
- Experience in quarrying, mining, or a related industry (supervisory experience preferred)
- Have coached and developed your team with a focus on production enhancement and improvement
- Are results focused, self-motivated and have a total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm
- Have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great results
- Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure
