Position Description:

The role of a Quality Assurance Manager involves working with the Senior QA Manager to act as the First Line of Defense support function for SEI Dublin operations teams. It involves working toward a consistent, risk-mitigating control framework across all operations teams, resulting in improved client service levels and a scalable operating model.

What you’ll do:

  • Control Framework

  • Lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the business unit’s QA framework covering documentation standards, controls and testing protocols

  • Ensure all critical processes have documented procedures with clearly defined key controls

  • Quality Assurance Testing

  • Perform periodic, structured testing of processes and key controls to validate adherence and effectiveness for SEI Dublin operations teams including Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Centralized Operations, Financial Reporting and AML

  • Incident Management

  • Review of incident reporting including root cause analysis, remediation and preventative measures

  •  Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model

  • Co-ordinate with technical solutions, risk and operations to proactively and effectively move resolutions forward

  • Compliance and Internal Audit Testing

  • Ensure any findings and recommendations where applicable are actioned by the relevant teams

  • Management Reporting

  • Provide clear and concise reporting on quality trends, recurring issues, and control effectiveness for SEI Dublin senior management

  • Culture

  • Champion a culture of high-quality execution and strong operational discipline across the organisation

What you will bring to the table:

  • Experienced QA, Operational Risk, or Internal Audit professional with 7+ years in a financial services environment

  • Experienced in reviewing existing processes and implementing efficiencies and risk mitigation

  • Skilled in process mapping, control design, operational testing, and incident analysis

  • Knowledge of fund administration is an advantage
