The QP Importation Manager has responsibility for the Batch Document Review and Release processes and for management of the Batch Release Specialist team.

In this role you will:

  • Provide effective leadership of the Batch Release Specialists including coaching, development planning, performance reviews, recruitment etc.
  • Work with the QP/QD to ensure that products released for sale have been manufactured and distributed in accordance with local procedures, cGMP and licence requirements.
  • Ensure that batch release operations deliver customer service and production schedule expectations.
  • Liaise with External Supply Quality, Planning and manufacturing sites to ensure that planned activity reflects Supply Chain requirements and to communicate where there may be delays.
  • Ownership of batch tracking and the provision of KPI on batch release performance.
  • Effective resource and capacity planning.
  • Support Quality System Management activities within the broader QP Importation/TPQ teams.

Why you?

We are looking for professionals with these required skills and attributes to achieve our goals:

  • Science Degree or equivalent (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or similar)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally in a Quality role, although strong experience in Production or Engineering roles would also be relevant
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and application of quality management systems
  • Ability to influence others outside own immediate area
