Role Overview
The GRVT brand is fundamentally committed to delivering high-quality and stable exchange services. As a rapidly evolving enterprise with new features introduced almost weekly, rigorous functional testing of these features is crucial to ensuring product stability and excellence. To fortify the Test Engineering team, we are seeking a highly skilled QA Test Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience who can execute manual functional tests and is receptive to acquiring automation skills.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong inclination towards shift-left testing methodologies and adeptly validate intricate systems, thereby guaranteeing high-quality integrations and dependable performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to develop comprehensive test strategies for new features and releases across WEB, API, and MOBILE (iOS, Android) platforms
- Defect Management: Accurately report defects with clear reproduction steps, triage reported issues, classify them by risk level, and proactively communicate blocker bugs
- Test Management: Create and manage test cases (including positive, negative, and edge scenarios) for new features, and assist development teams with concrete test plans and reports
- Test Execution: Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end, for critical components like Order Matching-engine, Market Data, Trade Data, and Risk. Troubleshoot failed tests across systems
What We’re Looking For
- Testing Expertise: Deep understanding of testing practices across both WEB and MOBILE platforms
- Protocol Familiarity: Experience testing REST API, Web-Sockets, GraphQL, and JSON-RPC protocols, especially in the context of trading systems
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with some of the following:
- Test Management: Testrail, Jira Xray, Zephyr, Allure
- CI/CD: Github Actions, Jenkins
- Log Analysis: Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, ELK stack
- Other: Postman, Firebase
- Automation Aptitude: Willingness to learn and contribute to automation coverage across WEB, API and MOBILE applications
Bonus Points
- Domain Experience: Prior experience with cryptocurrency exchanges, trading platforms, or fintech
- Blockchain/DeFi Exposure: Familiarity with Blockchain or DeFi applications, including interactions with Web-3 wallets
- Automation Frameworks: Exposure to automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or SOAPUI
