Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic Cloud Data Migration programme. This role will involve managing a complex technology transformation initiative, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders, and overseeing third-party vendor delivery.

The successful candidate will have strong project management experience, a proven track record delivering cloud migration or infrastructure projects, and the ability to operate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale Cloud Data Migration projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Coordinate activities across internal teams, external vendors and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure project governance, reporting and documentation are maintained to the required standards.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and facilitate effective communication across all project participants.
  • Manage third-party vendors and track delivery against agreed milestones and objectives.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies based on project requirements.
  • Support the successful delivery of additional infrastructure and technology projects as required.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with organisational policies, standards and controls.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Proven experience managing Cloud Data Migration projects.
  • Strong project management background with experience delivering complex technology initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated third-party/vendor management experience.
  • Knowledge of a range of project management methodologies with the ability to adapt approaches as required.
  • Experience delivering IT infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within highly regulated environments.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformation programmes.
  • Familiarity with governance, risk and compliance requirements within large organisations.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum.
  • Experience managing large-scale data migration, infrastructure, or cloud modernisation initiatives.

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Ability to drive projects to successful completion while managing risks and dependencies.
