Job Description

 

  • Work with the Project Owner, Sponsor and Scrum Master to confirm project scope, goals, objectives and business justification, coordinate project resources and confirm project mandate.
  • Prepare detailed project plans and associated resource requirement profiles.
  • Undertake RAID analysis and establish project governance structures and processes.
  • Create, maintain and update Project Initiation Documents, project plans and project status reports.
  • Manage and monitor project progress to ensure delivery of agreed stages and objectives within time, cost and quality constraints.
  • Report progress to the Project Steering Group, Project Sponsor, Programme Manager and executive stakeholders, escalating issues when required and implementing corrective actions where appropriate.
  • Assess risks and issues, maintaining risk and issue logs and contingency plans.
  • Support development of project communication strategies and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Identify interdependencies between stakeholder groups and ensure risks are identified, mitigated and communicated.
  • Identify process gaps and implement appropriate business process and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • 8–10 years' Project Management experience.
  • Experience in Business, Compliance or Process delivery.
  • Experience implementing process controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP, with practical application experience.
  • Budget management, commercial awareness and customer-facing experience.
  • Full SDLC experience.
  • Experience delivering fixed-price engagements.
  • Experience using Project Management and Microsoft Office tools including MS Project, Excel, Word and Visio.
  • Ability to organise work effectively and communicate clearly.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting collaborative teams.
  • Experience contributing to Project Management methodologies, capability development or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working within formal governance environments.
  • Experience delivering complex transformation or change projects.
