Job Description

AtkinsRéalis one of the world’s leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.

We are seeking a Project Manager to take the lead in the management and delivery of small to large scale energy infrastructure schemes throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience, preferably from a design consultancy background, with demonstrated expertise in all phases of planning, design, and construction. The candidate will join our busy Transportation & Energy team to be based in our Dublin office. The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility and collaborative with experience in delivering multi-disciplinary designs as it will be a role working closely with industry leading clients and stakeholders. The role will include winning work, overseeing the delivery of work, client management, financial management, technical knowledge of site/route optioneering and appraisal, co-ordination of the preparation of statutory approval process documentation, contract documentation and management of construction activities.

Your Purpose:

  • Ensuring the provision of efficient and high quality engineering services, to a high level of quality assurance in accordance with relevant design standards and codes.
  • Technical experience in the development of linear infrastructure through all stages of a project lifecycle i.e. Optioneering and Appraisal, Preliminary Design, Planning, Detailed Design, Procurement and Construction Stage Administration through Public Works Contracts and/or NEC.
  • Chartered or close to achieving Chartership.
  • Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and work to a budget and programme, to control costs and manage change control processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, client delivery partners and team members to ensure successful results and effective delivery.
  • A willingness to develop and build client relationships.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
  • Proven experience preferably in Ireland/UK of effectively managing Clients and other external stakeholders, both technically and commercially.
  • Full Irish/EU driving licence.
