Project Lead

Abu Dhabi, UAE

 

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Lead to join our team! In this role you will get to work on infrastructure projects that change the fabric of our community. 

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. 

  • Identifies and documents changes in scope. Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project buy outs, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements. Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.

  • Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings and specifications utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable. Prepares standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

  • Prepares technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
    Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines. 

  • Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager. Makes timely follow-up with team on deliverables.

  • Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses. 

  • Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. 

  • Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project. Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project. 

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.

  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience.

  • Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering .


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience in Infrastructure Design.

  • Background/knowledge in Planning/Scheduling.

  • Effective communication skills
