The Project Engineer will support Project Managers in coordinating projects, managing timelines, ensuring quality, and communicating with clients and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

What you will do
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communicate with general contractor and client team on site regarding program and escalate any issues to the PM.
- Produce concise accurate reports for management team.
- Commercial awareness to include ensuring project costs are controlled and as per budget.
- Ensure the clients are given a high-quality finished product and service.
- Translate client needs and organizing in practical terms into required timelines to be met by the site team.
- Constantly seek ways to streamline and develop site installation and commissioning with product and service quality as a key driver.
- Monitor and accurately record any delays or issues on site which may have commercial repercussions.
How you will do it
Accountable (Lead) for:
- Supporting Project Managers with project execution – all aspects incl. Delivery, Coordination, Records & Reporting, Document Control,
- Coordinating project deliverable internally across, Engineering, Manufacturing & QA/QC
- Chairing meetings – Lessons learned, RAID & site meetings as required.
- Quality – Reporting
- Client Relations
Shared Responsibility for:
- Procurement as Required.
- Supplier Relations and Coordination.
- Continuous Improvement
- Teaching and Learning - Mentor and motivate team members.
- Checks and Balances to minimize mistakes (Lessons Learned)

What we look for
Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a site managerial role in a manufacturing or construction application
- Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent understanding of customer expectations and deliverables and the desire to produce good quality product
- Very well organised with the ability to work with multiple deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive and Solution-oriented – driven to achieve results
- Firm but fair approach
- Full driver’s license
Desirable
- Experience in HVAC delivery within DC industry
- Ability to read technical drawings including P&IDs and Electrical Diagrams.
- Ability to build morale among the teams and promote continuous improvement.
- First Aid, IOSH, PSCS, Slinger/Banksman Training, Manual Handling, Safepass, Working at heights
