Plan and Drive Engineering Changes supporting Sustaining Engineering projects from initial Change Request though execution and full manufacturing/distribution channel implementation

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Engineering Change cross functional team in communicating and tracking defined deliverables 

  • Work closely with Technical SME to ensure all tasks are identified and planned appropriately 

  • Assess the impact (risk, costs, timing) of Change requests 

  • Schedule regular meetings to ensure all cross functional team members, critical to the Project/Change, are kept informed and are completing necessary actions as assigned 

  • Manage, in some cases execute, Engineering Change deliverables through all steps of the Change Process 

  • Work closely with Sustaining Project Management to ensure Engineering Change plans support overall Project Goals

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology discipline 

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in the Medical Devices / Pharmaceutical regulated industry

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Proven ability of working within an established Quality System 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

  • The ability to work progressively as part of a team and on own initiative 

  • Excellent attention to detail
