About FareHarbor Sites
FareHarbor’s business model requires that users utilize our software to book online. For this reason, it is in FareHarbor’s best interest that our clients have websites that are easy to find, easy to navigate, and drive online conversions. With this interest in mind, FareHarbor offers websites to our clients to help improve their web presence and online bookings. All of our websites are built on our in-house developed WordPress theme. The Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for organizing the clients’ end to end process from project submission until the website is live.
About the Role
The FareHarbor Sites Onboarding Team is seeking a Project Coordinator who will assist our clients, Account Managers, and Account Executives in organizing our ongoing website projects. This job involves creating project plans, monitoring internal build schedules and client/internal communication, and organizing project deadlines to ensure milestones are met promptly, guided by the client’s website needs.
Though our in-house theme is versatile, it is not fully customizable. The PC is initially responsible for gathering the content, branding materials, and general goals of the new website from the client. It is critical that the PC manages client expectations and strongly communicates the value and limitations of FareHarbor-built websites, but is excited to provide alternative solutions. The PC strategizes with Web Content Specialists, SEO Specialists, and other internal teams for the website build. The PC will maintain deadlines, help minimize client feedback, and communicate progress to a diverse set of stakeholders to deliver a product to the client that maximizes their businesses’ online success.
To be a successful Project Coordinator, you will need to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using all Google applications, and have exceptional verbal, written, organization and presentation skills, as this is a client-facing role. An effective PC is innovative and has a strong commitment to client satisfaction. You will coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, for which strong attention to detail is essential. For this position, you should also have a basic understanding of how websites are built and structured.
As a Project Coordinator in our Amsterdam office, you will primarily work with clients in the European region. You will work with your fellow Project Coordinators globally and report to our functional manager based in our U.S. office in Denver, Colorado.
What you’ll do here:
- Maintain multiple website project plans and schedules. Ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Effectively communicate website best practices to clients and help them understand ideas that may be foreign to them. (We will offer some formal training for this position on website best practices though you should have a general understanding of web design best practices.)
- Coordinate with internal teams and the client to ensure communicated project deadlines are met.
- Ensure client views/feedback are managed towards the best solution.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings and client calls.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure clients’ FareHarbor-built websites meet technical and design best practices.
- Have a detailed understanding of the site building process and be able to explain to others with confidence.
