This is a senior opportunity for a proven programme leader with strong governance, stakeholder, and commercial capability, ideally within aviation or major infrastructure environments.

  • End-to-End Programme Leadership: Lead and coordinate programme activities across the full lifecycle, working closely with internal delivery teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure efficient and assured delivery.

  • Financial Oversight: Take ownership of the programme budget, including financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and optimal allocation of resources.

  • Performance Management: Define, monitor, and report on programme milestones and KPIs to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with key aviation stakeholders, delivery partners, and internal functions to understand the wider programme landscape and maintain strategic alignment.

  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure programme activities comply with internal governance and assurance processes, preparing high-quality submissions to progress through project control points.

  • Process Excellence: Implement best-practice programme management procedures and controls to drive performance, value, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?

We are seeking an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the delivery of complex infrastructure programmes, particularly within the aviation and airport environment.

As the successful candidate, you will bring deep expertise in programme delivery across large-scale infrastructure portfolios, along with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver major capital projects from inception through to completion.

Key experience and capabilities include:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering major infrastructure programmes of significant scale and complexity, supported by a minimum of five years’ senior management experience.

  • Proven end-to-end delivery of high-value airport or aviation projects, with strong preference for experience in airfield infrastructure, including runway, apron, and taxiway development and rehabilitation.

  • Extensive knowledge of capital project and programme delivery, with a clear understanding of how major programmes integrate within a broader organisational, operational, and capital investment framework.

  • Strong leadership and management capability, including excellence in project management, commercial management, and procurement.

  • Well-developed planning, governance, and delivery skills, with the ability to set clear goals, define priorities, and establish robust roles and responsibilities across teams.

  • Demonstrated experience in documenting and embedding best-practice delivery methodologies, policies, and standards.

We celebrate diversity, including neurodiversity, and believe it enriches our team. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and abilities.
