Program Manager, Corporate Operations

Global Corporate Operations is a regulatory team committed to execution. We proactively manage risk by operationalizing regulations, driving cross functional regulatory change and enabling safe expansion into regulated markets. As a Global Corporate Operations program manager, you will develop and manage processes that help us execute on a global scale. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of cross functional partners to deliver strategic regulatory programs with immediate impact. The ideal candidate can distil complexity into clarity, and drive impact and velocity across teams. They are curious, driven, focused, and detail-oriented, able to influence without authority, relentless in driving to closure, and able to build strong relationships. They are strategic in approach and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

• Lead the established EMEA Consumer Protection and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) program across Stripe Technology Europe Limited and Stripe Payments UK Limited, ensuring appropriate governance and processes to support Stripe’s compliance with evolving regulatory expectations.
• Execute program deliverables ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations in EMEA and delivery of internal and external audits by creating a structured systematic approach. 
• Drive risk management by operationalizing regulations across Stripe Technology Europe Limited and Stripe Payments UK Limited to ensure ongoing embedded compliance. 
• Support the strategic expansion of Global regulatory risk programs, sharing best practices and leveraging the high standard as set by the EMEA program.
• Support business model changes across Stripe Technology Europe Limited and Stripe Payments UK Limited to mitigate risk and meet compliance requirements.

• Proactively manage licenced entity risk operations, presenting progress updates and operational performance to senior leadership and legal entity Boards of Directors in the regulated regions.
• Contribute to the development of a scalable global Regulatory Risk Controls framework. 
• Collaborate closely with a wide range of cross functional partners including Product & Business, Operations, Risk & Compliance, and Audit to strengthen oversight and ensure appropriate controls are in place.

• 3-5 years of experience in risk and compliance domains (e.g. regulatory program delivery) in financial services or fintech companies.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-company projects and scalable program maintenance in a regulated environment.  
• Risk management experience navigating complex challenges and requirements.
• Strong program management experience including demonstrated ability to build new programs from the ground up.
• Self starter who has the ability to work autonomously and experience working in a fast paced global organization.
• Exceptional cross functional stakeholder management with excellent communication skills.

• Understanding of compliance and regulatory obligations, including Consumer Protection Code, Consumer Duty and PSD2 regulations.
• Experience working within regulated entities, including direct engagement with regulatory functions, Boards or Regulators.
• Highly inquisitive, innovative and demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to quickly understand complex problems and exercise sound judgement to find well-balanced solutions.
• Ability to tackle ambiguous situations and operate efficiently and independently in fast-paced, high-volume and technology-driven environments.
