Job Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform procedures and requirements for start-up, SWI and related equipment for all secondary operations.
  • Capable of training others to perform related tasks using SWI process.
  • Lift, move, stack, pack visually monitor parts through an established process on machines according to SWI.
  • Capable of understanding and completing paperwork accurately.
  • Meets or exceeds production, quality and delivery output as prescribed by established standards.
  • Perform first off procedures for production start-up of each job.
  • Effective use of MDV's Escalation process.
  • Other Tasks:
  • Continuously adhere to and apply the Magna Employee's Charter, the Magna Corporate Constitution, and the Magna Operational Principles in all aspects of position and interaction with others.
  • Effective use of MDV's Escalation Process.
  • Compliance to IATF customer requirements
  • Attends all scheduled meetings and training.
  • Understands and follows established rules, procedures and policies relating to position.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

Core Competencies:
  • Procedure oriented - able to follow procedures and requirements for start-up, Standard Work Instructions, completing paperwork accurately, etc
  • Strong work ethic - through a thorough understanding of automotive quality and delivery requirements, meets production targets, quality and delivery goals as prescribed by established standards.
  • Willingness to learn new ways of doing things - through an understanding of TWI, capable of learning SWI for multiple machines within Assembly department.
  • Organized - prefers and keeps a clean and orderly work environment

Education Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Meets standards for MDV testing.
  • Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job
  • Working knowledge of quality and safety initiatives
  • Working knowledge of the English language both written and oral.
