About The Role

Fivetran is a leading data integration company, providing automated and reliable data pipelines for companies to centralize and access their data effortlessly. Our mission is to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity, empowering businesses to harness the power of their data for analytics, business intelligence, and decision-making.

To support our growth, our Product Success Managers (PSMs) will closely collaborate with prospects and customers in Fivetran's self-service motion. PSMs will respond to inquiries, assist accounts requiring additional guidance, and bridge the gap between product, engineering, and sales-assisted GTM.


What You'll Do

  • Qualify and Unstick Self Service Accounts: Streamline the Fivetran evaluation process, conduct discovery calls, and showcase the benefits of upgrading to a paid plan.
  • Understand and Address Customer Needs: Skillfully resolve customer challenges and ensure we provide the essential resources needed to become their preferred vendor.
  • Drive Paid Starts and New Qualified Logos: Implement strategies to accelerate the conversion of trial and Free Plan users into paid customers, ensuring accounts quickly realize the value of Fivetran's solutions and commit to a paid plan.
  • Advocate for Customers: Regularly provide feedback to the product and engineering teams on behalf of our customers.
  • Manage Low Touch Annual contracts: Execute low-touch commercial negotiations and facilitate New Business annual contracts.
  • Handle Escalations: Manage customer escalations internally and externally when appropriate.


Skills We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of sales or customer success experience.
  • Experience conducting discovery calls to qualify potential prospects.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, calls, and emails methodically.
  • Collaborative skills to interface with customers and key internal teams (product, sales, support, revenue operations).
  • Contracting and negotiation experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Customer-centric mindset: build relationships, understand customer pain points, and deliver business outcomes/value.
  • The right balance of self-confidence and humility to lead as an individual contributor.
