The Role: Product Owner - Platform

beqom is looking for a Product Owner to join our Product team to drive the requirements of our SaaS and mobile products to ensure that we continually deliver high-quality, value-added features to our customers. 

This scope includes Data Management, Authorization Management and a wide range of additional functionality which makes up the backbone of the beqom product suite.

  

Your mission will be to collaborate directly with customers and the Platform Product Manager to define business use cases and engage with design and engineering teams to help define the product features and deliver new functionality to our product.

What you'll be doing

  • As a Product Owner, your main duties and responsibilities will be to:
  • Work directly with the relevant Product Manager to help shape the roadmap for the Platform functional area.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to execute on the roadmap including writing user stories and running grooming sessions.
  • Work closely with the UX designers on the designs for new features, ensuring that the designs meet customer needs and are consistent with the rest of the product.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners for other application modules to ensure that their requirements are prioritized and added to the roadmap.
  • Prioritize the user story backlog for each feature and communicate both the What and Why of the feature to the engineering team.
  • Work with the Product Knowledge team to ensure that the knowledge base is kept up to date and information about new functionality is added.

What we need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in building and delivering B2B / Enterprise SaaS products
  • Experience using JIRA and related Product Tools
  • Good understanding of user-centered design processes

Desirable, but not essential

  • Experience with Analytics/Reporting tools, or Mobile Applications a plus
  • Experience with PowerBI
