MongoDB’s mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Atlas allows customers to build and run applications anywhere—on premises, or across cloud providers. With offices worldwide and over 175,000 new developers signing up to use MongoDB every month, it’s no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.

The Role

MongoDB is seeking a Program Operations Specialist to join our Product Marketing & Strategy organization, which includes the MongoDB Product Marketing (PMM), Developer Relations (DevRel), and Competitive Intelligence (CI) teams. In this role, you will help manage and drive continuous improvement of the systems, processes, and workflows that keep our teams running smoothly and at scale to support the business and our customers.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys streamlining processes, and is eager to develop and grow their career as part of a world-class marketing organization.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage Core Systems & Workflows: Own the implementation and upkeep of program management tools, ensuring deliverables are logged, workflows are consistent, and stakeholders have the visibility they need to succeed
  • Standardize & Improve Processes: Build and maintain a living library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that define how recurring processes should run, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scale operational excellence across the organization
  • Ensure Asset & Data Accessibility: Define how marketing assets, insights, and deliverables are organized and shared across teams — ensuring they are kept up to date, properly version-controlled, accessible for the right teams and systems, and easy to find. You will also track and reconcile program data (e.g., scorecards, dashboards, events, or content metrics) to provide leaders and other key stakeholders with timely, reliable data
  • Support Content & Program Operations: Manage the mechanics of content and program execution, including packaging and distributing assets across internal and external channels and coordinating recurring operational tasks within our teams and with other stakeholders and processes such as scheduling reviews, tracking approvals, data management, and keeping workflows aligned
  • Special Projects & Strategic Priorities: The rapid innovation in our ecosystem and the customer-centric nature of our business mean that our teams are regularly asked to get involved with cross-functional and high-visibility strategic initiatives. We expect our Program Operations Specialists to be always ready to adapt to temporary or longer-term shifts in their scope and goals to support the evolving needs of the business
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing operations or marketing program coordination
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience and confidence using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Monday.com, Wrike, Seismic, Google Drive).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability and confidence to present to senior-level stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable learner with a growth mindset and interest in marketing and developer ecosystems.
  • Bonus: experience creating SOPs, managing content libraries, or supporting marketing programs or content workflows (e.g., publishing or managing social channels).
Why Join

As a Program Operations Specialist, you’ll be at the center of how MongoDB’s Product Marketing & Strategy organization executes globally. You’ll gain hands-on experience with systems, workflows, content operations, and reporting — while supporting our teams and leaders. You’ll also be joining a new and growing team, giving you the opportunity to help define and influence how one of the largest organizations in Marketing operates. This is an excellent opportunity to accelerate a career in marketing by developing skills and experiences to support growth into a variety of marketing and product marketing roles.

To drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone. From employee affinity groups, to fertility assistance and a generous parental leave policy, we value our employees’ wellbeing and want to support them along every step of their professional and personal journeys.
