About Us

Platform Engineering is reshaping how enterprises build and run their cloud-native setups, and Humanitec is leading this transformation. Our mission is to help teams build Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) that unlock true developer self-service.

This is where you come in.

With our next-generation product, Humanitec Platform Orchestrator v2, successfully launched and our frictionless sandbox experience now live, we are focused on scaling and evolving our new product line. We’re looking for individuals who want to help us expand our market presence, shape how teams discover and evaluate the Platform Orchestrator, and define what Platform Engineering will look like in the years ahead.

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to fully own and drive Humanitec’s marketing and GTM presence across all channels and touchpoints. This is not a traditional marketing role. It is a product-minded, technically fluent PMM position responsible for rethinking, designing, and implementing our entire customer journey from first touch to free trial to POC to conversion.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Documentation to ensure Platform Engineering teams and decision-makers clearly understand what the Humanitec Platform Orchestrator is, how it works, and which problems it solves. Your scope will include our website, content ecosystem, campaigns, GTM assets, and funnel performance with the autonomy to build the systems and automations required to scale.

Humanitec is an all-remote company. We value the intersection of humility, drive, and intelligence. In this fully remote role, you’ll be given substantial autonomy in your work and consistent, empathetic feedback on your performance. The preferred time zones for this role are UTC -1 to UTC+3.

What You Will Bring

Excellent communication & collaboration

You are comfortable working in a fully remote environment, partnering across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Documentation to bring clarity to complex technical concepts. You write clearly, summarize well, manage async communication effectively, and jump on calls when needed to move things forward.

Strong product marketing foundations

You know how to craft messaging and positioning, understand technical audiences, and connect product capabilities to customer needs. You have experience defining narratives, building content ecosystems, and shaping how prospects evaluate a product.

Technical fluency & curiosity

You enjoy learning how products work under the hood and translating that knowledge into content, positioning, and onboarding experiences that resonate with highly technical audiences (developers, platform engineers, architects).
Hands-on experience creating or managing technical content is a strong plus.

Full-funnel GTM experience

You have worked across awareness, evaluation, trial, and conversion flows and understand how narrative, content, product experience, and data all influence momentum through the funnel.

Pragmatism & bias for action

You are comfortable operating in an early-stage environment with evolving priorities. You make data-informed decisions, move quickly, and balance “perfect” with “good enough” to drive meaningful progress.

GTM systems & automation experience

You have worked with marketing automation, analytics, and CRM tools. You know how to build dashboards, implement conversion tracking, manage lead flows, and design processes for scale.

What You Will Do

Own the whole GTM funnel - Design, implement, and continuously refine our GTM funnel from awareness → evaluation → free trial → POC → conversion. You will identify bottlenecks, conduct experiments, and develop the systems necessary to support efficient growth.

Manage and evolve our external-facing assets - Oversee the website, blog, whitepapers, documentation touchpoints, and events. You’ll ensure every surface communicates clearly, converts well, and reflects our narrative.

Lead and support campaigns across channels - Design and execute social, content, and demand-generation campaigns that increase awareness and bring qualified teams into the funnel.

Drive the creation of technical content - Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and external contributors to develop high-quality technical content that explains how the Platform Orchestrator operates and its significance.

Optimize onboarding and early product experience - Partner with Product and Engineering to refine our free trial → POC flows, ensuring teams quickly experience value from the Platform Orchestrator.

Build GTM automation and reporting - Set up and maintain dashboards, metric definitions, and automations that keep our funnel healthy and measurable.

Collaborate across the organization - Partner with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Documentation to align GTM initiatives with product development, customer needs, and our long-term strategic priorities.

If this sounds like a fit, we would love to hear from you!
