About the role

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for bridging the gap between product, marketing, and sales at CitySwift. The role will focus on driving the success of CitySwift’s products by creating go-to-market strategies, developing compelling product messaging, and enabling the sales team with the insights and tools they need to win in the market. 

This role will focus on the UK market, extending to support other markets as required. 

Key responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and customer success.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research to deeply understand our target market, customer personas, and competitive landscape. Use these insights to inform positioning and strategy.
  • Messaging & Positioning: Create clear, compelling product messaging that communicates the unique value propositions of our product. Ensure consistency across all sales and customer touchpoints.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop sales collateral (e.g., product brochures, presentations, case studies) and provide training to the sales team on product positioning, messaging and competitive differentiation.
  • Customer Advocacy: Work with the partner management team to identify key advocates and develop case studies, testimonials, and user stories that highlight the success of our customers. Develop customer community engagement strategy, customer workshops etc. 
  • Content Creation: Support Content Marketing with the creation of product-related content including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, videos, press, and product demos.

Key skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B software across roles such as marketing, solutions engineering, sales/business development, partnerships, or product.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to handle complex subjects comfortably.
  • Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a solid understanding of various roles and responsibilities within a B2B software business.
  • Commercially minded, with a focus on driving business results.
  • Curious and inquisitive, with a desire to deeply understand concepts and work autonomously.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, takes initiative to resolve issues independently.
