About the role:
Todays' RCM is inherently complex due to opaque and payer-specific adjudication rules, incurring significant waste and inefficiency. Optum Insight is committed to delivering new technology and processes to improve the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflow using advances in Gen AI and other state-of-the-art technology that would ultimately benefit all stakeholders involved in the healthcare ecosystem - payers, providers, and patients.
As a Product Owner, you have the unique opportunity to act as an entrepreneur within Optum Insight. You will contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of a product which solves problems and delight customers. You are the Voice of the Customer and work backwards from a deep understanding of customers' problems. You will maximize product value by defining product goals, product roadmap, and managing backlog, while working with our Technology and our Business stakeholders.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with standard working hours of Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

- Product Management:

- Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on features that deliver the most value.
- Work with tech teams, business users, and business partners to understand requirements.
- Technical Expertise:
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to inform product development.
- Understand complex technical issues and facilitate problem-solving discussions.
- Ensure the product adheres to technical, security, and regulatory standards.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between the Technology team and business stakeholders for your products.
- Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to inform product decisions.
- Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders at regular intervals.
- Agile and Process Improvement:
- Champion Agile methodologies and continuous improvement within the tech product team.
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Monitor and report on product performance, using data to drive decisions.
- Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are integrated into product development.
- Oversee the resolution of technical and customer-facing issues.

Required Qualifications of the Product Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Proven Product Management experience
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery, including feature delivery and tradeoffs (prioritization) and contributing to engineering & technology strategy discussions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., research, engineering, UI/UX, Program Management, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications of the Product Manager: - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools
- Experience and understanding of software development lifecycle and technologies.

- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
