Overview
Are you seeking to develop your career in Platform Product lifecycle management?  In this role you will guide our internal development platform with a focus on enhancing developer productivity across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role sits at the intersection of product management, platform engineering, and AI innovation, prioritising backlogs and improving capabilities that enable developers to build, test, deploy, and scale faster.  This is not a management position, you will not manage a team.

You will help make decisions and roadmap development that unlock automation capabilities, Agentic AI use cases, and workflow acceleration opportunities

You will collaborate with designers and researchers to execute initiatives focused on workflow automation, Agentic AI patterns, and developer experience

You are passionate about AI development tools with hands on experience using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code and Lovable.

We offer hybrid contracts, but we need you to attend the office in Dublin at least one day per week, to liaise with colleagues and teammates. You will report to the Director, Product management.

Responsibilities

  • You will define and execute the roadmap for Autodesk’s internal development platform, with a focus on AI-driven productivity improvements.
  • You will translate business and user needs into platform capabilities that reduce friction and enable secure, high-quality software delivery.
  • You will conduct comparative and industry research to ensure our platform is aligned with emerging trends in developer tools and AI.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and research teams to validate solutions and prioritize impact.
  • You will steer product choices and platform evolution using a lean, data-informed mindset.
  • You will present platform strategy and outcomes to senior management, including CTO and CIO stakeholders.
  • You will communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, aligning teams around shared goals and metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have 3–5 years of product management experience, with a strong background in platform or developer productivity tools.
  • You have a proven track record delivering platform capabilities for internal engineering teams at Enterprise scale.
  • You have a strong familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitHub, CloudBees, Artifactory, Kubernetes, and Dynatrace.
  • You are experienced in integrating or evaluating AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable).
  • You understand cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have strong storytelling and presentation skills.
  • You are skilled in defining product metrics and measuring success.
  • You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting priorities, and influencing outcomes.
  • You are passionate about developer experience and continuous improvement.
