Product Manager - Ads Data Platforms

A Little About Us
The Ads Data Platform team at Yahoo provides a robust backbone to run Yahoo DSP, including serving, targeting, billing and reporting, measurement, insights, and more. We contribute to Yahoo DSP's success and help deliver hundreds of billions of ads across the world every year. As part of the Ads Data platforms team, we are responsible for managing data pipelines, data lakes, internal reporting and conversion attribution products.
We are looking for a Product Manager to manage the roadmap and execution of Ads Data Platforms engineering teams and cross functional feature development with other product managers, business stakeholders and engineering teams.
Role is open to applicants in Ireland.

Your Responsibilities
Support Product Requirements: Assist senior product managers in defining product requirements, user stories, and roadmaps, collaborating closely across product, engineering, and business teams.
Participate in Agile Development: Work alongside engineering teams using Agile practices to help deliver high-quality features and improvements.
Collaborate with Engineers: Help translate business needs into technical specifications, and learn about backend systems, data flows, and trade-offs.
Ensure Data Quality and Compliance: Partner with data governance teams to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance across reporting and analytics products.
Support Analytics Initiatives: Assist in the creation and monitoring of dashboards and reporting solutions, helping drive actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
Conduct User Research: Gather feedback from users to identify pain points and opportunities for improving data products.
Assist with Go-to-Market: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Policy, Documentation) to support product launches and feature rollouts.
Track Metrics and KPIs: Monitor product performance, identify improvement areas, and align features with business goals and success metrics.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in product management, data management, business analysis, or a related field.
Foundational understanding of data concepts (e.g., data lakes, ETL, data warehousing).
Basic familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and interest in learning more.
Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to take initiative and learn independently.
Interest in backend systems, data processing, and analytics products
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Exposure to Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is a plus.
A broad understanding of web and application technologies; exposure to adtech or data products is a plus but not required.
