We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner with strong Business Analyst capabilities to join our dynamic Salesforce-driven technology team. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure that our products and features are delivered effectively, aligned with business priorities and meet user needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills, be comfortable working in Agile environments, and possess a solid understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Backlog Ownership & Refinement
Create, manage, and prioritise the product backlog based on Program Increment (PI) objectives in collaboration with the Salesforce Product Owner.
Lead discovery sessions with technical leads and stakeholders.
Facilitate requirements gathering and refinement workshops.
Run backlog refinement and story-pointing sessions using Scrum Poker.
Maintain JIRA and Confluence for all requirements, including documentation, sign-offs, epics and feature pages.
Triage and prioritise bugs that block releases and work closely with developers and QA to resolve them.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Prepare and lead product demos for stakeholders, occasionally involving team members for specific areas.
Communicate progress updates, including delivery dates and delays.
Advise the business on best practices, feasibility and capacity limitations.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders.
Dependency Management
Identify and raise dependencies across teams, ensuring they are flagged early with Scrum Masters and Technical Delivery Leads (TDL).
Track due dates for dependencies and escalate blockers as needed.
Feature & Release Readiness
Inspect and smoke test features prior to demos to ensure quality and functionality.
Review System Integration Testing (SIT) scripts related to new features to ensure accurate coverage.
Sprint & PI Planning
Support sprint and PI planning alongside Scrum Master and Technical Lead.
Help identify and document blockers and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
Experience & Skills:
Must-Haves
Proven experience in stakeholder management, with a professional and approachable communication style.
Strong analytical skills and experience facilitating requirement workshops.
Ability to build rapport with clients and external teams, earning trust and credibility.
Comfortable pushing back on requirements when necessary and managing priorities effectively.
Proficient in translating technical issues for non-technical audiences.
Technical Requirements:
Salesforce Administrator Certification
Solid understanding of declarative vs. non-declarative capabilities in Salesforce.
