We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner with strong Business Analyst capabilities to join our dynamic Salesforce-driven technology team. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure that our products and features are delivered effectively, aligned with business priorities and meet user needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills, be comfortable working in Agile environments, and possess a solid understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Backlog Ownership & Refinement

  • Create, manage, and prioritise the product backlog based on Program Increment (PI) objectives in collaboration with the Salesforce Product Owner.

  • Lead discovery sessions with technical leads and stakeholders.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and refinement workshops.

  • Run backlog refinement and story-pointing sessions using Scrum Poker.

  • Maintain JIRA and Confluence for all requirements, including documentation, sign-offs, epics and feature pages.

  • Triage and prioritise bugs that block releases and work closely with developers and QA to resolve them.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Prepare and lead product demos for stakeholders, occasionally involving team members for specific areas.

  • Communicate progress updates, including delivery dates and delays.

  • Advise the business on best practices, feasibility and capacity limitations.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders.

Dependency Management

  • Identify and raise dependencies across teams, ensuring they are flagged early with Scrum Masters and Technical Delivery Leads (TDL).

  • Track due dates for dependencies and escalate blockers as needed.

Feature & Release Readiness

  • Inspect and smoke test features prior to demos to ensure quality and functionality.

  • Review System Integration Testing (SIT) scripts related to new features to ensure accurate coverage.

Sprint & PI Planning

  • Support sprint and PI planning alongside Scrum Master and Technical Lead.

  • Help identify and document blockers and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.

Experience & Skills:

Must-Haves

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, with a professional and approachable communication style.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience facilitating requirement workshops.

  • Ability to build rapport with clients and external teams, earning trust and credibility.

  • Comfortable pushing back on requirements when necessary and managing priorities effectively.

  • Proficient in translating technical issues for non-technical audiences.

Technical Requirements:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification

  • Solid understanding of declarative vs. non-declarative capabilities in Salesforce.

What we offer

  • A collaborative and fast-paced work environment with opportunities for growth.

  • The opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries.

  • We offer competitive salaries and benefits including pension plans, income protection, life assurance, discounted healthcare and travel insurance.

  • You’ll enjoy lots of cool perks including free fresh fruit delivered daily along with a fully subsidised barista service.

  • We strongly support a work-life balance and encourage agile and flexible working across the business.

  • Our working parents are eligible for paid family friendly leave once they are with us more than a year and we offer a phased return to work to support their return.

  • You always get your birthday off, company closure days at Christmas and Easter and we have a great holiday allowance scheme allowing you to buy additional leave at the beginning of the year too.

  • Diversity, Inclusion and Wellness is SO important to us and there is always an event within these areas on the horizon.

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

We are happy to discuss flexible and agile approaches to working for all our roles – we can’t promise we will be able to offer you everything you want or need but we do promise to discuss it with you openly and honestly. If you have any reasonable adjustment needs arising from a disability or medical condition to fully participate in the recruitment process, please discuss this with our recruitment teams.
