Role Overview

We’re hiring a Product Lead to own the Investments stream — the part of Kota that powers retirement, savings, and wealth-building benefits.

You’ll lead the team responsible for pensions, master trust life and income protection, and other long-term investment products. This stream integrates with providers, manages contributions, and helps employees see and grow their savings over time.

You’ll combine commercial thinking, product intuition, and technical understanding to make complex, regulated investment products clear and approachable.

What You’ll Do

• Shape and ship new pension, savings, and investment features for employers and employees.

• Lead integrations with pension and investment providers, including master trusts bundling life or income protection cover.

• Build transparency for users — contributions, balances, and performance insights.

• Work with finance, compliance, and design to ensure accuracy and simplicity in equal measure.

• Coach engineers and designers to deliver high-impact, well-scoped cycles.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with investment, pension, or wealth-management systems.

• Product leadership background (founder, PM/EM hybrid, or senior engineer turned lead).

• Analytical mindset and comfort with financial and regulatory data.

• Track record of shipping user-facing financial products end-to-end.

• Clear communicator who can align commercial, technical, and design perspectives.
