What you'll do

As a Product Designer at Ministry Brands, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and User Researchers, to design and deliver intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional SaaS applications.

• Create user-centered design solutions that align with our product goals and user needs
• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and user flows effectively
• Design elegant and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience while ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with user researchers to conduct user interviews, usability testing, and other research activities to inform design decisions
• Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing results, and evolving product requirements
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with product roadmaps
• Prepare detailed design specifications, guidelines, and assets for development teams
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging best practices in UX/UI design

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of experience in product design for web-based SaaS applications
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present and explain design decisions to cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices
