As a Product Control Specialist in our Product Control team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our trading desks. You will ensure the accuracy of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and month-end close procedures. Your work will directly impact our financial integrity and operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review daily and monthly balance sheet reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Calculate and analyze RWA for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Support forecasting processes and provide variance analysis.
- Perform GSIB reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of SEC and FRB external reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and implement improvements.
- Maintain a strong control environment by ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related area.
- Experience with profit and loss and month-end close processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a strong control focus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Solid understanding of financial products.
