The Product Communications Manager will create narratives for product announcements, manage storytelling projects, and collaborate across teams to ensure effective communication of insights and product benefits.
Your role at Dynatrace
Ready to shape how breakthrough technology reaches the world? We're seeking a Product Communications Manager who will craft the narratives behind Dynatrace's major product announcements—from keynote stages to customer conversations. You'll transform cutting-edge AI observability innovations into compelling stories that drive market adoption and business growth. This isn't just content creation; you'll directly influence how thousands of developers, IT leaders, and executives understand and embrace this game-changing technology. If you're excited about high-visibility work where your storytelling shapes market perception and business outcomes, this role offers the independence, visibility, and impact you're looking for.
- Own the creation of high-impact narratives for keynote presentations, product videos, and go-to-market materials—transforming complex technical innovations into compelling, accessible stories for diverse audiences from developers to executives
- Partner with technical designers and video producers to develop educational content and product videos that communicate both technical capabilities and business value
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to develop narratives that reflect product roadmaps and enable successful marketing campaigns and sales conversations
- Develop and maintain messaging frameworks, style guidelines, and content standards that ensure cohesive storytelling across all channels and touchpoints
- Build templates, toolkits, and processes that enable product managers and field teams to create accurate, on-brand product content
- Rapidly absorb complex product capabilities, use cases, and market positioning to become a trusted technical storytelling partner who can credibly represent Dynatrace technology across the organization
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, ensuring exceptional quality and on-time delivery across all deliverables
- 3-5 years in technical product marketing or communications for B2B enterprise software, ideally in observability, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or adjacent technical domains
- Strong technical storytelling ability with a portfolio or experiences that demonstrate how you've translated complex technical concepts into compelling narratives across formats—keynote scripts, product videos, launch materials, and sales enablement content
- Technical fluency with modern software concepts: cloud-native architectures, containerization, distributed systems, AI/ML operations, and how enterprises use observability and application performance management
- Juggling priorities while maintaining execution discipline—you can architect a comprehensive launch narrative while simultaneously shipping a keynote deck and coordinating a script with video producers.
- Proven stakeholder management skills navigating competing priorities across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales—building consensus while maintaining creative vision and message consistency
- Self-directed work style with the confidence to own ambiguous projects, make decisions with incomplete information, and drive initiatives forward without constant oversight
- A one-product software company creating real value for the largest enterprises and millions of end customers globally, striving for a world where software works perfectly.
- Working with the latest technologies and at the forefront of innovation in tech on scale; but also, in other areas like marketing, design, or research.
- A team that thinks outside the box, welcomes unconventional ideas, and pushes boundaries.
- An environment that fosters innovation, enables creative collaboration, and allows you to grow.
- A globally unique and tailor-made career development program recognizing your potential, promoting your strengths, and supporting you in achieving your career goals.
- A truly international mindset with Dynatracers from different countries & cultures all over the world, and English as the corporate language that connects us all
- A culture that is being shaped by the diverse personalities, expertise, and backgrounds of our global team.
- For this position we offer exclusive relocation support to our R&D Headquarters in Linz, ranked among the top seven most sustainable cities in the world, where cutting-edge innovation intersects with an exceptional quality of life and affordable living costs! Click this link to find out more.
