Product Business Analyst - Commerce Hub

We are seeking a Product Business Analyst to join our data engineering project focused on optimizing the flow of data from source systems to Snowflake. This role will be key in ensuring that data is readily available for sharing across systems and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Analysis: Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement in data handling and reporting.
  • Definition of Ready: Ensure that requirements are clearly defined and ready for the development team to initiate the project.
  • Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and features based on business value and impact.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project requirements, processes, and changes for transparency and alignment.
  • Collaboration: Engage with technical teams to ensure effective delivery, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Acceptance Criteria: Develop clear acceptance criteria to ensure that deliverables meet the specified requirements.
  • Quality Management: Monitor and manage the quality of delivered data solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data engineering or data analytics projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies, particularly Snowflake, is a plus.
  • Proficient in documentation and requirements management tools.
