Analog Devices’ Sustainable Automation Growth Marketing team is looking for a Product Applications Engineer to join us in Limerick, Ireland. In this role, you’ll support our cutting-edge Industrial DAC portfolio, including output drivers, HART modem and programmable 4–20mA and voltage output DACs—some with Functional Safety capabilities.

You will be responsible for technical training and customer support of existing products as well as involvement in product definition for new product development. Tasks include writing datasheets, hardware user guides and application notes, working with other product lines to understand and develop complete signal chain solutions, developing training material for field applications engineers, making device measurements and providing input for new product definitions.

This is more than a traditional applications role. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that blends technical expertise with strategic marketing to drive innovation and growth across a wide range of industrial applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers and Field Application Engineers to solve complex design challenges, mainly in support of the industrial DAC product portfolio.
  • Support existing and new product launches with benchtop measurements and the creation of technical collateral (datasheets, evaluation boards, user guides, application notes, technical articles etc.).
  • Deliver technical training and develop related content for internal teams and partners.
  • Expand the reach of our industrial solutions through digital content like blogs, videos, and technical articles.
  • Partner with marketing and applications teams to shape engagement strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable insights for new product development.
  • Identify emerging trends and contribute to innovative product proposals.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A technical degree in Electronic, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience in applications engineering or technical marketing, ideally in the semiconductor or high-tech sector.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon evaluation and system-level design.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, and self-driven team player with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast paced technical applications role.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Automation, Factory/Process Automation, Intelligent Buildings, Robotics, or Motor Control is a plus.
