Nightwing Intelligence Solutions is searching for a professional who will support senior buyers by performing tasks such as processing purchase orders, tracking supplier relationships, and managing basic inventory. This position requires strong communication, analytical, and basic supply chain knowledge. Experience in the business and customer service industry are a plus. Experience with procurement software and the ability to work efficiently with internal teams are also valuable assets for this role. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing Purchase Orders: Issuing, confirming, and tracking the status of purchase orders for goods or materials.
  • Supplier Management: Engaging with suppliers an internal customers to gather requirements information, confirm shipment status, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Inventory Management: Assisting with basic inventory tasks and ensuring the consistent and timely delivery of materials in addition to updated delivery dates in Costpoint.
  • Data & Administrative Tasks: Entering procurement details into systems, researching and finding pertinent information, and providing administrative support for the procurement team.
  • Internal Collaboration: Working with other departments like logistics, finance, accounts payable, and the program management office to ensure procurement needs are met. 

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, attention to detail, exceptional willingness to learn, be a proactive and contributing teammate, listen carefully to instructions, and have a deep sense of integrity and work ethic. This entry level procurement analyst will be expected to learn the live cycle requirements for fulfilling program purchasing requirements on behalf of the government customer. Daily use of Costpoint, Excel, Word, PDF, and an array of other online applications is imperative. Customer service and patience are key in this position as well as the aptitude for problem-solving and completing tasks in a very fast paced environment. Prioritizing tasks and strong communication, both written and verbal, are an integral part of being successful in this job.

Following instructions and quality of work product are essential skills for this position. Maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times and taking accountability are also necessary qualities for the candidate to join this team. The successful candidate will need to embrace a culture where they can function and adapt to change while maintaining a positive attitude.
