Team Oomnitza is looking for an experienced and driven UX Designer to work on the next generation of SaaS enterprise software. You have a passion for simple, elegant design and shipping quality products. As a member of our ambitious team, you should be a self-motivated individual with a strong sense of accountability and thrive in a dynamic team environment. We’re looking for people that are excited to help build an infrastructure that translates into a positive experience for customers of any size. 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the UX Strategy for our SaaS platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Lead the end-to-end design process for key initiatives, including discovery, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
  • Act as a thought leader and advocate for design, championing user-centered design principles across the organization.
  • Drive the creation of consistent, scalable design patterns and contribute to the company’s design system.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and inclusivity are embedded in all designs.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver cohesive user experiences
  • Translate complex user needs into simple, elegant design solutions.
  • Experiment with new tools, methods, and ideas to push the boundaries of UX design within SaaS applications.

Qualifications:

  • We seek someone who has shipped world class products in the enterprise space - who has seen the product through multiple releases and managed to bring about remarkable improvements through the product life cycle.
  • Degree (or relevant qualification) in a related field, such as Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Visual Communications or Human Factors.
  • 10+ years of experience in UX design, with 3+ years in a leadership or principal-level role, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Balsamiq or something similar. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions, including examples of leading large-scale projects.

Key Skills:

  • Deep understanding of UX best practices, design principles, and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle complex design challenges.
  • Experience mentoring teams and shaping the overall design culture within an organization.
  • Enthusiasm and positive energy (bring it!), and a bias towards action
