The Role: Product Owner, Machine Learning
beqom is looking for a Principal Product Manager specialising in Platform Management to join our Product team to drive the requirements of our SaaS and mobile products to ensure that we continually deliver high-quality, value-added features to our customers. This scope includes Data Management, Authorization Management, Analytics and a wide range of additional functionality which makes up the backbone of the beqom product suite.
Your mission will be to collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to define business use cases and engage with design and engineering teams to help define the product strategy and deliver new features and functionality to our product.
What you'll be doing
- Take the ownership of the Product Roadmap for one of our core modules.
- Create a strong product strategy based on customer needs, the market and competitive landscape.
- Create clear use cases for Product features based on input from customers, pre-sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to help lead Engineering squads to define and deliver value-added features.
- Understand deeply the “whys” of your Product Features, what problems they solve, and how they provide value to our customers.
- Do deep work on complex features to ensure we’re meeting our customer needs with an easy-to-use, scalable product.
- Work with engineering on architectural problems, ensure that they are making the right technical decisions based on the business requirements.
- Build strong relationships with our key customers including influencing their implementation strategy and having difficult conversations.
- Understand all our product features, capabilities, and business requirements and work cross collaboratively with other product managers to ensure a consistent and value added user experience.
- Facilitate enablement of our Services team to help them ensure they understand the What and Why of the product in order to provide a flawless implementation project for our customers.
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Services and Customer Support to ensure there is a strong communication loop - make sure they understand the product and we are getting their customer feedback.
What we need
Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in building, leading and delivering B2B / Enterprise SaaS products
- In depth understanding of SaaS platforms, specifically data and authorization management
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally with high-value enterprise customers
- Good understanding of user-centered design processes
- Previous experience with data management or analytics software is a plus
- Previous experience with integrations or iPass is a plus
Soft Skills
- Fluent in English, any other languages is a plus
- Excellent communication skills & stakeholder management
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong team player mindset
- Ability to prioritise
Desirable, but not essential
- Experience with Analytics/Reporting tools, or Mobile Applications a plus
- Experience with PowerBI
