Required Skills include an understanding of Supportability Engineering (Reliability, Maintainability, Logistics and Product Support), demonstrated ability to learn computer based tools, process oriented, strict attention to details, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills (Customers, Peers, Management and Suppliers), ability to multiplex a variety of technically detailed tasks.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
BSEE +10 years of experience in technical or scientific field and experience in logistics engineering or related engineering disciplines

Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

Responsibilities:
- Develop XML/SGML content using Arbortext or similar.
- Maintain Arbortext Style Sheets including FOSI support.
- Perform testing for upgrades and patches of PTC Arbortext Editor, Styler and Publishing tools.
- Maintain Windchill ProjectLink workflows.
- Perform testing for upgrades and patches of Windchill.
- Maintain tools designed to convert DOORS content to XML and publish to PDF.
- Maintain and develop Visual Basic Scripts to support XML processes.
- Maintain tools designed to support an XML Windchill repository.
- Maintain the process to create Component maintenance Publications using S1000D, ATA 1000BR specification, and the Raytheon EAGLE Publishing System or similar Publishing system.
- Work with Boeing's Supplier Portal and Boeing's SEDS.
- Create/modify vector graphics editing applications. Examples: Corel Draw, or Creo Illustrate.
- Familiarity with military publications specifications. Examples: 38784STD, and 87929C.
- Familiarity with commercial publications specifications. Example: ATA 2200.
- Work with engineering teams to collect product data necessary to develop technical documents.
- Identify opportunities where the XML process can be implemented to improve efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities for content reusability.
- Work with IT to implement new xml software applications.
- Assist other company divisions with the implementation or XML processes.
- Evaluate proposals to ensure the tools available support the technical publications requirements.
- Attend ATA, S1000D, and PTC related conferences as needed.
