Summary:
The Pricing Data Specialist supports the integrity, accuracy, and usability of pricing data that informs commercial decisions across the organisation. This role manages data inputs, validates pricing information, and ensures SKU configurations are reliable and aligned with business needs. The specialist analyses pricing performance, identifies trends, and provides insights that guide improvements in pricing strategy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to).
Own the Pricing Operations process within Salesforce, including pricing approvals, SKU creation, and price changes
Identify product bundling and quoting business requirements and assess system requirements.
Represent Product in designing, testing, and implementing new product configurations.
Ensure pricing compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Identify opportunities to enhance our Pricing Operations process
Assists in the collection and aggregation of key operational data (e.g., price performance, usage rates, adoption metrics, churn data) required for the product performance reporting function.
Perform ad-hoc analysis at the product level to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
Explore alternative solutions to pricing challenges and recommend appropriate actions
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, finance, or related field
1-3 years' experience in a pricing, sales operations, or business analyst role
Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills and time management
Proven analytical, problem solving, and facilitation skills
Desirable Skills:
SQL experience a plus
Experience in building BI dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., Tableau)
Working knowledge of Salesforce
Familiarity with SaaS business models and commercial readiness processes including pricing, packaging, SKU management, and quote to cash
Experience working in dynamic, matrixed environments across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success
Exposure to AI or automation technologies
