What’s the scope?
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all technical aspects related to the accurate application of agreed-upon pricing conditions for our customers. You will also support the FP&A manager by analyzing campaigns, discounts, margins, customer disputes, and pricing strategies.
As our Pricing Analyst you will:
-
Conduct ongoing analysis of the seasonal prebook sales campaigns, actively identifying pricing errors, missed discount requests, and other discrepancies. Provide weekly reports to the FP&A manager for further interpretation, enabling swift action when needed.
-
Collaborate on projects with the Customer Service management team to enhance approval processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency across all areas.
-
Calculate seasonal prices across all European currencies based on an established pricing strategy. Ensure the timely loading of these prices and related discounts into SAP before the start of the prebook sales campaign. Additionally, monitor the prompt calculation and upload of prices for products added post-customer appointments.
-
Set up and manage discount campaigns in SAP, automating discount application for various order types. During campaigns, track any issues, provide feedback, and, after completion, report on results and sales force incentives.
-
Maintain the technical integrity of our internal tool used to approve and collect customers' standard terms and conditions. Transfer approved discount revisions from this tool to SAP to ensure accurate billing.
-
Evaluate and resolve customer disputes, assessing whether they should be approved or rejected. Take ownership of tracking files to ensure accurate accruals of off-invoice discounts (e.g., markdown contributions, penalties, rebates) and correct settlement at month-end.
-
Serve as the key point of contact for Customer Service regarding pricing issues and liaise with internal and external auditors. Maintain close communication with all company departments.
-
Work closely with the Costing Analyst to ensure accurate costing data for margin calculations. Analyze standard margins throughout the process, from development to actuals. Provide feedback to the Merchandising and Planning teams to optimize profitability. Assist the FP&A manager in preparing seasonal margin bridge presentations by gathering data and conducting preliminary analysis.
