You manage a portfolio that follows globally harmonized processes to ensure the right decisions are made on portfolio choices & innovation strategies while focusing on value delivered and alignment with our business strategy. Managing portfolios includes not only the processes, but also the tools used to plan, create, assess, balance and communicate execution of portfolios that support our global and/or regional goals and strategies.
How you will contribute
You will:• Ensure that choices & investments align with business strategy and priorities• Implement portfolio programs and projects• Lead the direction for process and tools• Oversee the overall portfolio• Provide guidance and oversight for program and project managers delivering portfolio activities
BU portfolio and innovation pipeline management• Ensure the Portfolio Management Review is an effective, efficient meeting which is linked to other MDLZ processes and workstreams to ensure cohesiveness• Ensure the right cross-functional attendance and contribution (e.g. BU President, Marketing, R&D, MSC, Strategy, Sales, Finance)• Consolidate inputs gathered from relevant functions and present insights which enable data-led decisions on:
o The delivery of the entire BU portfolio (i.e. margin, core maintenance, future enablers and innovation)
o Innovation pipeline quality, efficiency and sufficiency• Drive commercial inputs for manufacturing capacity planning• Support and consolidate cross-functional long term resource planning aligned to portfolio and innovation pipeline needs.• Ensures the adoption of innovation pipeline and project management tools, and drives accuracy of portfolio and pipeline data: leveraging applicable systems and dashboards (e.g. Accovolt / Nostradamus) to support portfolio and innovation pipeline decision making• Support preparation for Category and BU Innovation Reviews• Leadership of the 'process' and 'performance' aspects of innovation• Wider portfolio governance• Oversee the successful management of the range of BU portfolio governance: how PAM/MOR*, PMM, BU strategy meetings fit together and produce desired outcomes
*Note that PCMs coordinate inputs and facilitate the PAM/MOR
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:• Extensive experience in portfolio management including financials in a complex matrix organization• Extensive experience partnering with strategic leaders and building collaborative working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including in technology, finance and operations.• Experience working with geographically distributed teams in an international environment.• Ability to master details across broad subject matters and synthesizing the essence in concise communication.• Experience in financial, organizational, risk and change management.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 8-9 years of experience in business management , portfolio management
  • Analytical and creative skills - a balance of commercial and strategic acumen.
  • Effective communication (verbal and writing), and strong presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership to influence direct teams and core stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across internal & external stakeholders and multi-functions.
  • Regional experience (preferred)
