Platform Engineer

What does a successful EMEA DevOps Platform Engineer do?

You will be responsible for designing, building, and ensuring production grade support for Kubernetes and Cloud platform. You will help application teams to onboard, monitor and run the applications in fast and secure manner. This includes using latest technology and ability to greatly contribute and shape the solution with your inputs.

What you will do

• Build & maintain platform that serves as self-service for development teams
• Help application teams to be onboarded and provide technical guidance to use the maximum of our platform on-prem or in the cloud
• Cooperate with other departments within organization (security, middleware team, linux team, …)
• Participate on change management processes
• Be available occasionally on nights and weekends for on-call coverage

What you will need to have:

• 3+ years work experience in DevOps/SRE area co-working with development teams
• Linux administration knowledge, basic networking, and certificates knowledge
• CI/CD, GitOps, Git/Gitlab, Docker and Kubernetes
• IaC and scripting skills
• AWS or other cloud
• Full understanding of SDLC
• Proficiency in English, good communication skills and positive attitude
• Ability to understand complex architecture designs and be able to search for alternative solutions
