About the job:

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join the Foundations team, which plays a critical role in maintaining the core of the KitchenOS platform. This team focuses on key areas such as infrastructure, security, scalability, and observability. Additionally, they take on DevOps and SRE responsibilities, working on pipelines and enhancing developer experience (DevEx). The Foundations team collaborates extensively with other platform teams, addressing a diverse range of requests to ensure seamless operations across the ecosystem. We are a flexibly hybrid company and this role can be based in Ireland, Spain or Portugal. 

Minimum qualifications

  • Strong background on architecting AWS Platforms (especially Lambda).
  • Strong background on Infrastructure-as-Code (especially AWS CDK)
  • Experience with REST APIs and event-driven systems.
  • Effective technical communicator with the ability to adapt to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, team player and curious about technology.
  • Fluent English is a must.

Desired qualifications

  • A proven track record in a cloud-based technology company with high traffic and millions of users.
  • A proven track record of successful innovation initiatives.
  • A degree in computer science or a related field.

    A deep dive into your technical expertise with members of our team. This interview will explore your approach to problem-solving, technical knowledge, and how you apply your skills in practice. It ensures your technical skills align with the team's expectations.

  • Team Interview
    An opportunity to meet potential team members and learn about the team dynamics. This interview assesses collaboration, communication, and cultural fit, helping ensure you'll thrive in our environment.
