You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project's readiness to go live.
How you will contribute
You will:

  • Drive consistency and quality in the execution of major projects using the appropriate methodology and tools
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to global leads and/ or the program manager when needed
  • Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings
  • Lead budget management, resource planning and utilization
  • Confirm the completion and consistency of projects and their readiness to go live
  • Own the relationship with the external vendors including quality assurance in all phases of project delivery


Main responsibilities

  • Steer and manage execution of major projects / project portfolio / program using PMO principles, governance and structure
  • Develop robust governance per individual tracks with KPIs, goals and milestones to be regularly reviewed
  • Develop structure how to review progress in the program with different levels of organization
  • Define escalation and communication process and drive progress
  • Design stakeholders management principles to be able to regularly provide update on the progress
  • Organise and manage the different local departments and their projects, while gathering all relevant information and updating both the Manufacturing Director and the Cluster Leads


What you will bring

  • Proven experience in project management methodology
  • Excellent communication skills and able to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to steering committee members
  • Excellent project planning and proactiveness in identifying risks and mitigations and managing strict timelines
  • Strong focus on cost, schedule and quality of project delivery
  • Knowledge of relevant business processes
  • Proven Senior stakeholder management and ability to influence positively in decision making
  • Proven ability in building effective teams across internal and external partners
  • Strong conceptual and analytic skills - enjoys problem solving
  • 5 years of experience in the senior project management, engineering or manufacturing managerial roles in FMCG - supply chain experience in a multinational company will be an advantage
  • Strong evidence of delivery cross-functional teams without direct line management responsibility is essential, with proven experience during transformation periods and various types of projects (short, medium and long term)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) current project management processes, identify pros & cons and prepared to challenge the status quo
  • The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering education/background.
