The Plant HR Advisor will provide HR support for plant operations, focusing on engagement, recruitment, compliance, and performance management.

What you will do
In this Plant HR Advisor role you will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support to plant operations. Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, this role partners with plant leadership to drive employee engagement, manage workforce planning, and support talent development initiatives.
How you will do it
Liaison with HR Advisory and COE’s
- Act as first point of contact on all plant HR activities liaising with our HR COEs.
- Ensure SLA’s are adhered to and measure performance of activities to ensure the plant receives excellent service.
- Provide monthly feedback on the plants delivery of HR activities supported by the HR COEs.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruitment for hourly plant roles, including job postings, interviews, and selection.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Performance & Talent Management
- Assist in plant performance review processes and provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
- Support training and development initiatives to build workforce capability.
HR Administration
- Serve as the liaison for HR-related queries from plant employees and supervisors for general HR requests via Workday, HR Atlas and Omni.
Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement activities and communication within the plant.
- Promote inclusion initiatives and programmes.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- Partner with relevant teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and support wellbeing programs.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the liaison for HR-related queries from plant employees and supervisors and work directly with the centralised Employee Relations Advisory team.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
HR data analysis and presentation
- Support key metrics through reporting dashboards and ensure the HRBP can deliver value added discussions with plant leaders
- Liaise with HR Advisory team to ensure absence data is utilised to improve absence levels
- Review attrition detail to allow action planning and reduction of attrition in line with targets.
Deputising for the HRBP
- Act as deputy for the HR Business Partner, ensuring continuity of HR support during periods of site absence
What we look for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
