The Role & What You Will Be Doing

The Global Supply Chain Planning Master Data Analyst is responsible for defining, governing, and maintaining high-quality planning master data across SAP and advanced planning systems in support of global supply chain operations. The role ensures planning data is fit for purpose, supports standardised global processes, and drives effective planning, execution, and reporting — including active involvement in SAP S/4HANA transformation. It requires close collaboration with Planning, IT, Data Quality, and Master Data teams across system deployments, testing, and data migrations.

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Global Supply Chain Planning Master Data Analyst role will make an impact:

Master Data Ownership & Governance

  • Serve as global functional expert for supply chain planning master data across SAP and planning platforms

  • Define and maintain end-to-end master data processes covering creation, maintenance, validation, and governance

  • Develop and continuously improve policies, standards, and procedures with a focus on data quality and scalability

SAP S/4HANA & Transformation

  • Lead SAP S/4HANA data readiness, planning master data harmonisation, and support for new data models

  • Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilisation

  • Execute test scenarios and scripts across SIT and UAT phases

Data Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and monitor data quality KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across data, processes, and systems

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, manufacturing, IT, and commercial teams to align planning data with business needs

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Strong understanding of master data as a strategic enterprise asset.

  • Hands-on functional experience with SAP master data within supply chain processes (MM, PTP, OTC).

  • Experience supporting data validation, cleansing, and migration activities.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, global, transformation-driven environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, IT, or commercial discipline.

At Viatris, we are dedicated to building a truly diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t fully align with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.
